We are Evergreen Specialty Coffee, located in the bustling eastern hub of Melbourne, specifically in Kew East. Our refreshing café is dedicated to crafting delectable desserts with an Asian flair. We are currently seeking two exceptional Cake Pastry Chefs/Assistants who share our passion for Asian-style desserts to join our team. Both part-time and full-time positions are available.

Cake Piping Chef: Shift hours: 7:30am to 4pm. Proficient in swiftly and efficiently crafting sponge cream cakes and customized cake designs with an Asian touch. Skilful in creating pure whipped cream and delicately piping Asian-inspired cake designs. Candidates with hand-drawing abilities and familiarity with Asian dessert styles will be given preference.

Cake Baking Chef: Shift hours: 5am to 2pm. Responsible for early morning cake baking with an emphasis on Asian dessert styles, showcasing independent work capability. Proficient in basic cake decoration inspired by Asian dessert aesthetics and preparation of materials for the following day. Applicants must display a conscientious and dedicated work ethic, adhere to punctuality, and be available to work on weekdays and holidays. In the baking industry, holidays represent peak demand periods, so candidates unable to commit to holiday shifts need not apply.
