Tender Coordinator, JJJ Infrastructure. Brisbane QLD. Contracts Management (Construction). Full time. $87,000 – $130,000 per year. Tender Coordinator – WFH Brisbane based.

JJJ Infrastructure is an indigenous construction business based out of South-east Queensland delivering infrastructure projects for Defence, other government organisations and the private sector, both private and commercial. We are a builder and constructor with a growing site delivery presence throughout Queensland, and the Northern Territory. Due to growth and project successes, along with a strong pipeline of opportunities, we are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Tender Coordinator to join our team, located in Brisbane. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the tender process from start to finish, ensuring timely and accurate submission of bids.

About the Company: Our success has been in projects for the Defence, as well as private and commercial building developments with select clients and developers. We are a construction contractor based around where our clients sole source projects for us to deliver, with over 30 employees and 50+ subcontractors. Our work is predominantly hard-money fixed price contracts, we do hold an open class builder licence, own our own equipment, and transport vehicles.

Some of the key responsibilities of the Tender Coordinator role include: Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will coordinate and manage the end-to-end tender process, including reviewing tender documents, identifying requirements, and coordinating responses. Collaborate with internal stakeholders for tender submissions. Organise tender briefings and reviews, including initial meetings, kick-off meeting and tender reviews, whilst representing the Company during ongoing tender communications.

Prepare and compile tender submissions ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance with client specifications, deadlines, and requirements, with high attention to detail and quality document management principles. Coordinate communication with external subcontractors throughout the tender process. Track and monitor tender opportunities, maintain accurate records, database and documentation ensuring confidentiality, integrity and accessibility of tender information.

About you: Strong organisational skills in a with the ability to multitask, prioritise and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Previous WFH (work-from-home) experience in a construction environment. Thorough knowledge of building processes and sequencing. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. Advanced proficiency in all MS Office suite of programs. Proven experience in tender coordination, bid-management (preferably with government defence, building or construction industries). Ability to develop strategies and suggest new ways to improve the probability of project award. Develop new and creative ways to present tenders, including interactive marketing and communications strategies. Tertiary qualifications, current Australian Driver's licence and reliable transport.

Current National Police Certificate (NPC or criminal history check) or wiling to complete this as a part of the candidate qualification process. Construction White Card. Valid Australia Driver's licence (learner's not acceptable). Be able to pass a pre-employment medical and ongoing drug and alcohol testing for the duration of working with JJJ. Unrestricted rights to work in Australia. Ability to commit to a Monday to Friday WFH roster with suitable office, with occasional travel to sites during initial onboarding and training stages of employment. We will provide all WFH office equipment to succeed in this role.

Excellent reading and interpreting technical site plans. Great verbal and written communication skills.
