About the Role As a Primary Health Nurse within this NT Health Service, you will undertake a variety of essential roles, including the provision of health education, conducting assessments, managing chronic conditions, administering immunisations, offering first aid, coordinating care with other healthcare providers, and engaging with the community. Moreover, you'll respect cultural diversity and maintain accurate health records. Additionally, the inclusion of Child Health nurses ensures specialised care for the youngest members of the community, addressing their unique health needs and promoting their well-being. This multifaceted approach ensures the delivery of comprehensive and culturally appropriate healthcare to the community.

About the Client This Health Service is a respected & accredited Aboriginal Corporation providing services to a population of approximately 2,800 people. Primary health care is provided within this remote indigenous community, under a Community Control Model.

Skills & Requirements: Five years nursing experience, with at least one year within Primary Health Care. Proficiency in Point of Care testing: iSTAT / WBC Diff / DCA / Gene.
