Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification, Motor Vehicle Repairer (Service Station Mechanic) Trade Certification, 4th Period Apprentice, Automotive Service Technician Red Seal Endorsement, Motor Vehicle Inspector Certificate, WHMIS Certificate
Experience: Experience an asset

Mechanical Repairer Specific Skills: Inspect and test mechanical units, Diagnose faults and malfunctions, Repair and replace mechanical units, Test and adjust units to specifications
Additional Skills: Review work orders and discuss work with supervisor
Security and Safety: Bondable, Driving record check (abstract)
Own Tools/Equipment: Tools, Steel-toed safety boots
