Experience: 1 to less than 7 months, On the road job. Work locations may vary. Frequent or constant travel is required from the employee.

Responsibilities: Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand. Keep a record of items received and delivered. Accept and deliver messages and packages for events, conferences or assemblies.

Sort packages, Follow directions and read map, Provide customer service. Transport and handle dangerous goods. Load and unload goods. Use maps and other trip planning aids. Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems.

Professionalism in customer service. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Operate and drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.
