Summary: As a Senior Manager specializing in VMware technologies, you will lead a team responsible for the design, implementation, and management of VMware-based infrastructure solutions, particularly focusing on VMware Cloud Director (VCD) and NSX-T. Your role involves overseeing the design and development of private cloud environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security. Effective communication and collaboration skills are crucial for this role as it involves extensive interaction with various stakeholders.

 Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership in the development and evolution of VMware-based infrastructure solutions.

Collaborate with senior management to align VMware infrastructure strategies with overall business objectives.

Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of VMware engineers and administrators, fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and collaboration.

Oversee team performance, resource allocation, and professional development.

Private Cloud Design and Implementation: Architect, design, and implement private cloud environments utilizing VMware technologies, particularly VMware Cloud Director (VCD). Lead the deployment and configuration of NSX-T for network virtualization and security within the private cloud infrastructure.

Infrastructure Optimization: Continuously evaluate and optimize VMware infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency. Implement best practices and standards for VMware-based environments.

Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between technical teams, business stakeholders, and executive leadership, effectively communicating technical concepts and project status. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business needs.

Risk Management and Compliance: Implement and maintain security measures and compliance standards within VMware environments. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies for VMware infrastructure.
