To join Nikham Energy's development team, we are looking for a talented and experienced programmer with Laravel and Vue.js. This role will be responsible for creating and managing web apps. Work location is Welgemoed, own transport, portfolio of previous work. Contract position for 3 to 6 months. The salary range is R35K to R45K per month.

Responsibilities: Create and manage online apps with Laravel and Vue.js. RESTful. APIs should be created, maintained, and integrated with outside services. Ensure the application is responsive and maximize its performance. Investigate and fix problems, and make sure the code is error-free. Take part in code reviews to keep standards and quality of the code upheld. Keep abreast of emerging technology and web development best practices.

Requirements: Demonstrated expertise developing web applications with Laravel and Vue.js. Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP as well as Tailwind CSS. Familiarity with 3rd party service integration and RESTful APIs. Knowledge of database systems, especially PSQL, MariaDB. Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git. Strong knowledge of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript frameworks, Vue.js, and responsive design concepts. Knowledge of safe web security procedures.

Outstanding debugging and problem-solving abilities. Strong interpersonal and collaborative abilities. Readiness to pick up new skills and adjust to new tools and technology. Must have familiarity with package management systems such as Composer and NPM, as well as front-end frameworks and libraries and familiarity with containerization and Docker. Experience in Unix Servers is advantageous.
