Requirements: Matric with relevant degree / diploma. Minimal 5 years’ experience within a manufacturing environment. Engineering background would be advantageous. Working knowledge of SAGE Evolution.

Responsibilities Include: Read, understand and breakdown material requirements from engineering drawings. Handle the Request for Quotations (RFQ) processes as per the Procurement procedure. Act as an interface between suppliers and other relevant departments and communicate any supply problems which may impact on business operations. Monitor market trends, competitor strategies and market suppliers. Provide analysis on costs, new and existing and review cost reduction activities. Ensure that goods and services purchased are at the best prices and condition. Ensure that goods and services purchased are as per Purchase Requisitions.
