About us: IT online learning is an online learning provider that provides professional certification courses to both aspiring and seasoned professionals to help them develop their careers. These certifications cover a diverse breadth of industries and career paths including Project Management, Business Analysis, Change Management, Information Technology, Cyber security and Web & Software Development amongst many, many others.
As a Recruitment Advisor at IT online learning, you would be responsible for assisting entry-level candidates in new roles according to the fields they have studied once they have completed their certification. Our office is warm and relaxed while maintaining a sense of professionality.
Our ideal candidate has: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Impeccable attention to detail. Willingness to learn. Adaptability. HR experience (desirable).
Additional: We will provide you with training on our CRM system as well as how to be a Recruitment Advisor. Online training is a niche industry as is working with candidates to assist them in securing a role, and we appreciate that you may not have this experience. We are happy to have anyone on board with a positive mindset, organisation and communication skills.
Your day-to-day would look like this: Working with VIP students from our partner company to assist them in securing a role while acting as a mentor throughout their training. Redrafting UK candidate CVs to reflect relevant skills, experience and training specific to their industry standard. Coaching students on the UK job market, its trends and how to navigate technologies used in the job market. Assisting students in updating their LinkedIn profiles and guiding them on how to best utilise LinkedIn as a networking tool.
Sending students potential roles to apply to by growing accustomed to job boards, filtering roles accordingly and selecting jobs that are suitable for each candidate. Analysing jobs that students apply to (i.e.: identifying when they need to increase the number of applications, include a cover letter or use a greater variety of job boards). Coaching students on how to tailor their CVs and to effectively make use of a cover letter. Provide feedback on where students can improve their existing job searches. Carry out mock interviews and provide interview prep for students that have interviews lined up. Assist students in resigning from their current roles as well as negotiating new salaries.
