Debtors Clerk, East London, Eastern Cape. Company Name: Work Africa Recruitment. Debtors Clerk / East London - A vacancy exists for a Debtors Clerk at our Client in Beacon Bay. This position will report to the Senior Accountant.

Minimum Requirements: Matric. Further qualification in Finance advantageous. Advanced excel skills – Vlookup, pivot tables ETC. Minimum 2 years’ experience in debtors’ environment.

Responsibilities: Obtaining all paperwork from stores, ensuring cash-up sheets are scanned and signed off daily. Import sales from POS to in house system. Match the banking transactions and follow up on differences in debtors clearing account. Perform month-end reconciliation on the debtors clearing accounts (Cash, card and other) Weekly / monthly YUM reporting reconciled to GL / target sheets and submitted to YUM

Competencies: Good telephone etiquette. Strong Communication skills (verbal & written). Attention to detail. Deadline driven. Salary – Market related.
