Our client based in Cape Town CBD seeks a Receptionist to join their dynamic team at a reputable cell phone repair store. As the first point of contact for the customers, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations. Responsibility You will be responsible for but not limited to: Greet customers and provide a warm and welcoming environment. Assist customers in diagnosing faults with their cell phones, tablets, and laptops. Provide accurate information about our repair services, including turnaround time and pricing. Effectively communicate with customers to understand their needs and offer appropriate solutions. Manage customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area. Coordinate with the technicians to ensure a seamless repair process. Process payments and maintain financial records accurately. Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets and promote additional services.

Requirements: Matric. Minimum 1 – 2 years’ experience within a cell phone / laptop environment. Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a cell phone repair store or a related industry. Proficiency in understanding and troubleshooting various devices, including cell phones, tablets, and laptops.

Computer Literate: MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members effectively. Exceptional problem-solving abilities to diagnose faults and recommend appropriate solutions. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to handle customer inquiries and administrative tasks. Detail-oriented mindset to maintain accurate records and handle financial transactions. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
