Payroll and Benefits Administrator

Our client a well-established entertainment company is current searching for an AP/Benefits Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis and located in the heart of Downtown, Toronto.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The Payroll and Benefits Administrator’s duties include, but are not limited to;
Being first point of contact for employees for time, attendance and payroll issues
Processing payroll and maintaining payroll information as required
Completing data entry for all time and attendance and personnel transactions including new hires, terminations, leaves of absence, benefits deductions, garnishments, etc.
Managing document workflow and updating processes as required
Carrying out month end procedures and maintaining accurate records.
Providing support to managers on accounts payable related questions/issues.
Requirements:
3 to 7 years of experience in accounts payable
A critical thinker able to conduct accurate analysis and reporting
Data entry skills with high levels of accuracy
Someone with excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.
Able to multi-task, prioritize and work under pressure to meet deadlines
Detailed oriented with organizational and time management skills.
Proficient in MS Office applications with strong Excel skills. Experience with Pivot Tables a must have
Someone who can thrive in an open concept office
