Assistant Restaurant Manager, East London, Eastern Cape. Company Name: Work Africa Recruitment. Assistant Restaurant Manager required for our client an upmarket Restaurant in Beacon Bay.

Job Requirements: Matric/Grade 12. Min. 2 years’ experience as an Assistant Manager in a fast paced/high pressure environment is required. Must be a people’s person with the ability to Lead/Supervise staff and attend to Customer Complaints. Must have experience in dealing with stock control, able to order stock and check stock being received. Must ensure all equipment is in good working order and do daily inspections. Must keep the quality of food at a high standard hence have to be familiar with food safety. Must have experience in managing budget and stock shrinkage. Must have experience in handling cashups. Must have a valid driver license and own vehicle or own reliable transport. Must be willing to work retail hours and week-ends. Must be of sober habits. Proficient in computer applications and inventory software.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work in a fast-paced environment and cope with pressure. Excellent written, oral and presentation skills. Sense of urgency with good eye for details.

Salary – R10 - R12k (depending on experience)
