The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: Duties and responsibilities. Assure compliance with regulatory requirements related to occupational health operations. Signing off medical evaluations (entry/periodic/exit). Responsible for securing and developing all records, equipment, and programs related to occupational health services.

Evaluate and treat all injuries and illnesses in an efficient and professional manner within the scope of practice and consistent with clinical nursing guidelines. Assess healthcare needs, then implement and manage healthcare programs to improve health and facilitate return to work, maintain IOD records/ reports and worker medical files. Counseling employees on physical and mental health issues and guiding them toward community resources and/or employee assistance programs. Conducting research on the effects of hazardous work conditions or workplace exposures, which may include gathering data and reporting findings to the employer. Contribute in the design of controls for injury prevention and health surveillance related to actual and potential hazards in the work environment.    

Oversee and manage the administrative and operational activities of occupational health services at the mobile clinic. Responsible for direct and indirect supervision of health services staff at the Clinic. Qualification requirements include: Diploma in Nursing and a Diploma in Occupational Health/Btech in Occupational Health Nursing. Certificates in Spirometry ; Audiometry & Vision Screening are an added advantage. Dispensing licence is an added advantage. Have at least 2 years experience in Occupational Health. Remuneration: A market related salary depending on experience and qualifications.
