The Export Assistant position is responsible for preparation of documents for customs and all other formalities that may require for export from origin regardless of the mode shipping. To review, checked and ensure all correct.

He/she must liaise with carriers and company 3rd party nominated agents/partner for efficient movement to outbound shipments. Maintain database that tracks shipments as well as filing of related documents for company and related authorities’ compliance. It involves providing excellent customer service to clients.

This Position will be reporting directly to Export supervisor and Operations Manager.

Other tasks that maybe assigned from time to time. Reliever as required for any of import, export, clearance and pricing.

Qualifications: *At least Bachelor’s Degree and or equivalent

*Good negotiations skills and Effective communications skills (Verbal and written).

*Computer literate. Knowledge in MS Excel, MS word and PowerPoint.

*Good numeracy skills.

*Accurate, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and meeting deadlines.

*Good working attitude and Able to work efficiently with a team.

*At least 1-2 years’ experience in freight forwarding and logistics industry (Specifically in dealing with shipping lines and handling export Sea freight shipments).

*Understanding of UAE imports and export rules, regulations and compliance.

*Knowledge in IMDG and IATA DGR is an advantage.
