Job Description
Howard Johnson Harbourside Hotel Nanaimo
Requires a maintenance helper for the following
grounds maintenance, sweeping, cleaning of parking lot and garbage pick up
Must possess practical work experience with gas and electric mowers and trimmers
Outdoor pool cleaning and chemical readings required
Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry skills an asset
Practical working experience with painting and drywall work is a must
Valid Drivers license and basic first aid training an asset
Must be able to lift 25 to 50 kg as lifting is required on a daily basis
Time management and ability to work unsupervised as must to complete daily tasks
Weekend work is involved  (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)
NOTE: position is 24 to 32 hours per week depending on outside weather
