Finance Administrator, Other, Cape Town. Company Name: One To One Africa. The finance administrator is responsible for performing a variety of financial and administrative duties. They are responsible for strategizing on and planning for financial goals by working daily to achieve and maintain the financial health of our organization. A finance administrator will maintain accurate records and is required to remain compliant with all laws and company policies at all times. This means our financial administrator will have high ethics, integrity, and accountability.
Role The financial administrator will be responsible for: Accurate accounting, Bookkeeping. Supporting the preparation of Management Accounts for the BOD and committee. FAR Purchase Orders. The administrator will assist with re-forecasting and monitoring expenditure of organisational and project budgets.
He/she will ensure that budget aligns with programme activities, strategic goals and contract requirements with donors. He/she will be responsible for preparing and submitting Purchase Orders, maintaining the PO register and capturing PO’s into SAGE. The administrator will draw up funding requests, where necessary, for funds from the UK Office. The administrator will ensure that funds are managed effectively and deadlines are respected and budgets adhered to.
Requirements: Post-secondary degree in a relevant field (finance). 5-7 years of work experience in a similar role. Experience supporting Financial Audits. Experience developing and managing budgets. Practical experience with accounting software (SAGE) and spreadsheets (MS Excel). Remuneration Package – Cost to Company.
