Our client is an internationally associated Audit Firm with national and international clients and has an opportunity for a Junior Bookkeeper for the Cape Town office. Responsibility: Processing of accounting records to Balance Sheet. Management Reports including reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts. Maintaining Debtors and Creditors. VAT reconciliations as well as submissions and attending to SARS reviews. Liaising with clients, constantly as well as, banks and SARS via phone, fax, visit and email. Payroll for a variety of clients. Preparation of year-end audit files. Desired Experience & Qualification. Matric Certificate.

Relevant qualification in the form of an accounting degree or diploma. Strong knowledge of payroll processing and tax treatments of payroll related items. Preferably 1 - 2 years experience in a similar environment. Skills and Competencies. Accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent problem solving skills. Results and learning orientation. Good interpersonal and communication skills and excellent written and verbal communication. Sense of urgency and time management. Ability to prioritise and use own initiative. Be proactive, reliable and able to take responsibility for work done. Ability to be discrete when handling confidential information and exercise good judgement. Computer literacy: Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word , Pastel, Xero and Sage 300.

Salary: R15-18000PM.
