Restaurant Marketing Manager, Green Point & Waterfront, Atlantic Seaboard. Company Name: Karibu Restaurant. An upmarket fine dining restaurant on the waterfront is looking for a very experienced and qualified Marketing Manager.

Requirements: At least 5 years experience in the trade and at least 3 in a Managers Position. Experience in marketing a restaurant. Be able to establish good relations with Hotels, Guest Houses and Tour Companies. Owning a vehicle is a must. Must have experience in organizing events. A demonstrated interest and experience in achieving outstanding service and presentation.

Good admin skills. Excellent guest relations skills. Self-motivated and driven. Extensive knowledge of wine and service excellence in a fine dining environment. Second or third international languages, a distinct advantage, preferably German. Mature and reliable, and the willingness to learn and develop. Good organizational skills. Computer literate. Must be able to manage people to achieve outstanding results and service excellence. Experience in training and motivating a team.

The ability to communicate, motivate and gain respect from the staff. A thorough understanding and experience of what is required to maintain happy guests, an immaculate front of the house, top-quality food, and a smooth-running team. Attention to detail is essential. Pilot experience is an advantage. Driven and energetic. Must be able to cope with long hours.
