Financial Clerk, Bellville, Northern Suburbs. This is a temporary position starting 1 September 2021.
Responsibilities: Check emails for Western Cape orders and liaison with agents for orders for the rest of the country. Withdraw retail orders from the EDI system. Invoicing trucks at the Parow plant. Invoicing agents. Reconcile orders with invoices and POD's. Responsible for daily sales figures. Responsible for bank reconciliations and management of cash sales / petty cash.
Requirements: Minimum 2 years’ comparable experience. Experience in an administrative function within a logistics and/ or sales related environment is essential. Computer literacy: in particular with Xero, Excel, DEAR. Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines. Attention to detail and accurate record keeping skills. Excellent spoken and written command of English and Afrikaans. Ability to communicate effectively. Understand basic booking principles. Effective time management skills.
