Senior Project Engineer

We are currently seeking a high caliber Senior Application/Project Engineer to work with our client’s engineering and inside sales groups You will be working for a growing dynamic Canadian company based in Calgary providing thermal processing solutions to our customers around the globe.
We're looking for enthusiastic self-starters who are interested in working with a technical team.
Responsibilities:
 Design production units using Solid Edge CAD Software, producing 3D models and 2D drawings according to project specifications end engineering standards.
 Work closely with sales force to facilitate sales efforts.
 Perform technical bid clarifications especially related to standard specifications such as PED, ASME etc.
 Review RFP’s and customer orders to ensure they are acceptable relative to commercial terms, price, and delivery prior to processing.
 Equipment sizing such as bulk solid feeders, water control modules, fans, pumps, chillers, etc.
 Thermal modeling using proprietary software
 Materials of construction assessments
 Dryer, dew point and steam calculations
Qualifications:
 Minimum 5-10 years experience in engineering field
 Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering degree or technical certification
 Experience with heat exchangers, engineered and manufactured products an asset
 Capable of interpreting P& ID’s, process data sheets & other process related matters
 Customer focused, team player with an ability to deal with complex applications
 Solid project engineering background
 Strong verbal and written communication skills in a technical environment
 Some travel required
