Factory Manager, Polokwane / Pietersburg, Limpopo. Manufacturing company in Polokwani requires an experienced Factory/ Production manager to run a new branch. Experience in the timber / saw milling industry will be beneficial and must have good leadership skills , planning and management skills.

Duties will include: Setting and monitoring production targets. Full management of 30 to 50 employees. Basic understanding of machinery and electrical. Basic computer skills, emails, excel, word etc.

Stock control, purchasing of consumables, Must be able to run the factory and all components of the factory by themselves and provide daily feedback to head office. Hands on personality as main role will be on the factory floor.

Quality control, Supplier negotiations, Staff recruitment/ Basic HR functions and able to represent the company at CCMA, conduct disciplinary hearings , pay roll etc.

Must be reliable and of sober habits and willing to work overtime and weekends when required. Candidate will manage the branch alone with virtual support from head office.

Salary package R15000 to R20 000 per month
