 Hours of Work: In a 6 week rotation: 28 shifts of 8.00 hours
Salary or Pay Band: $38.080 to $47.490 (6 step range)
Required Qualifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Bachelor Degree in Nursing
Basic Life Support (BLS) - Level C Health Care Provider (HCP) - Heart & Stroke
Current CPR Certification
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA)
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to adapt to changing conditions
Ability to competently use computers and software applications as required by the position
Basic computer skills
Communication skills
Interpersonal skills
Leadership skills
Other Information:
3 years recent clinical experience in acute clinical or patient/family service area
Additional Text:
The CNE is accountable for providing clinical education, consultation and participation in policy development at the regional level in Prairie North Health Region. The CNE will collaborate with Directors, Managers, and Point of Care staff in the assessment of learning needs, delivery of a regional nursing orientation and providing specific education/in-services.
This is a regional position currently based out of Battlefords Union Hospital. Some travel may be required.
