On Boarding Student Advisor Vacancy, Foreshore, Cape Town, Cornerstone Institute seeks an Onboarding Student Advisor who manages leads allocated to them in the student onboarding process. They support all prospective students from the beginning of the application process (the enquiry) to studying with Cornerstone Institute.

They need to provide up-to-date and accurate information to prospective students about all programmes on offer at Cornerstone – with the end goal of converting enquiries into registrations.

Key Responsibilities: Advise prospective students on programs of interest and explain entrance requirements. Assist the students with completing application forms & submitting necessary documentation. Liaise with various department within Cornerstone Institute to assist the prospective student with any queries they may have.

Respond to all enquiries allocated to them on AAS – on the same day the enquiry is loaded - timeously, accurately & professionally. Calling the prospective student first and following up with an email. Relationship building with departments within Cornerstone Institute to work toward a seamless end goal. Prepare reports at the request of the Onboarding Team Manager Perform any other reasonable task as requested by Onboarding Team Manager.

Competencies / Skills: Excellent interpersonal, organisational, administrative and communication skills. Ability to support students and accessing information they may require. The ability to work accurately under pressure and a team player who is enthusiastic, energetic and creative.

Excellent computer literacy skills: Ability to work toward targets and achieve goals. Strong organizational, time management and planning skills. Ability to multi-task efficiently and be result driven. Able to develop and nurture positive working relationships with other departments within Cornerstone. Good negotiation and persuasion skills.

Minimum requirements: Post Matric qualification in General Administration, Marketing and Sales required. Working experience in a similar organisation preferred. Advanced Excel and MS Office. Minimum of 2 – 3 years experience in sales department. Excellent Telephone Manner. Some Customer Service Experience.

Be available to work overtime when required including Saturday’s. Own transport preferred.
