HR Practitioner vacancy available, Somerset West, Helderberg. We are looking for a highly energetic and passionate HR Practitioner to run the HR function of a dynamic retail group.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to Recruitment: Full recruitment function, designing adverts of vacancies, posting adverts of vacancies, screening of CV’s, conducting interviews, doing reference checks and appointing successful candidates.

Payroll & Human Resources Finance: Full payroll function of weekly and monthly paid employees. Completing monthly payroll reports. Setting up weekly and monthly salary journals and investigating discrepancies where needed. Employee time clocking and leave management.

Occupational Health and Safety: Ensuring that the business complies with all the occupational health and safety requirements as per the OSH Act and other relevant legislation. Reporting of all injury on duty accidents. Responsible for all Occupational Health and Safety audits.

Staff Management & Administration: Coordinating staff rosters. Handling day to day employee matters and queries. Responsible for all Department of Labour audits. Completing all UIF related forms. Compiling staff contacts and conduct the induction process.

 Industrial Relations: Conducting all disciplinary procedures. Ensuring full IR compliance with all relevant legislation.

Training and development: Assisting staff with e-learning modules. Implementing and driving all recognition and reward initiatives with employee.

Requirements: Matric and HR qualification. Pastel Payroll experience will be advantageous. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work under pressure. Strong attention to detail. Excellent time management skills. Good inter-personal skills. Very good problem solving skills. Must be able to multi-task.
