Other, Pretoria / Tshwane, Electronics Engineer Required. To consolidate research, advice and design security systems for Alteram’s client. To diagnoses various equipment malfunctions and manage the maintenance thereof.

Conducts research and analyses test measurements and other data. Resolves a variety of installation problems. Comprehends and makes inferences from blueprints, equipment specifications, schematic drawings, and technical instructions regarding security systems and equipment. Quality assures the repair of access control, CCW, and security system hardware and Electronic mechanical devices. Test electronic components with the use of special testing equipment.

Diagnose and correct security systems equipment malfunctions. Maintain and troubleshoot security systems data cable network and equipment. Install and relocate security systems hardware and other accessories.

Experience: Five years’ experience in security knowledge such as Access Control, CCTV, IPTV, Intrusion/perimeter detection, intercom, smart locking etc. Strong electronics skills. Strong electronics skills (capable of reading electrical diagrams) used to work with software applications and mechanical skills to replace parts is highly recommended.

Minimum Qualification: National Diploma in information technology or relevant field.
