Workforce Manager, Tzaneen, Limpopo. Our client, requires the services of a suitably qualified, experienced and energetic Workshop Manager.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the provision of a comprehensive engineering and maintenance services to all operations within business units. The incumbent will lead a team of senior artisan in boiler making ,electrical, light and heavy vehicle mechanic and construction, provide sound technical advice to management team on latest developments in technology, plant and equipment available and how to best utilize and maintain existing plant/equipment

Qualifications/Experience: Degree in Agriculture and/or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering  5 years direct experience in maintenance management,  Maintenance Coordination and management training will be added value  Valid drivers license

Knowledge: Financial Management: running and Maintenance of fleet and infrastructure  Effective Planning and control of project implementation within specifications and budgets  Manage artisans and ensure that they provide quality and cost-effective breakdown and preventative maintenance service through implementation of the official performance system  Knowledge of health safety regulations and training  Sound Knowledge of construction methodologies  

Skills: Working with engineers, technicians and artisans to ensure all products and systems requirements are taken into account  Working with other professionals such as accountants and human resources personnel to manage budgets and personnel  Supervising artisans and sub-contractors and ensuring effective communication in order avoid errors  Attending training courses and conferences  

Attitude/behavior: Must have integrity, initiative, energy and drive  Quality control analysis-conduct test and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance  Be able to meet deadlines at all times and work in a structured way under pressure  Have good analytical skills, be strong leader, motivator, implementer and be able to manage people  Good decision maker and planer  Good communication skills, be able to deal with a range of people i.e. farmers, contractors, suppliers, public and workforce
