Our client, a leading design organization, is seeking an experienced HR Manager for a 1 year maternity leave contract. With over 200 employees at its Richmond Hill location, our client has won numerous accolades for being a Best Employer in Canada for several years running.
Reporting to the President and CEO, you will fulfill the role of HR Manager. You will be responsible for all facets of the HR function, including overseeing Payroll and Health & Safety. You will also provide training for AODA, Bill 139 and may make presentations to employees of all types and levels. An ideal candidate will have at least one year of hands-on or supervisory payroll experience (knowledge of Ceridian Latitude is a strong asset).
As the standalone HR practitioner, this role is an ideal opportunity to make a significant impact on a close-knit, family-run enterprise, as well as the ability to work in an aesthetically appealing office space.

    HR diploma or degree
    A minimum of 10+ years of HR Generalist Experience (including Health & Safety and Payroll) in companies with around 200 employees
    Flexibility and willingness to be available to staff members during off-hours

    Excellent communication skills in English (verbal & written)
