Bookkeeper Accounts Assistant, Paarl, Cape Winelands. Our client in the fast-paced professional services environment is looking to employ a Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant. The option of a half day position can be discussed.
Main responsibilities involve supporting the financial management function through performing the full accounting/bookkeeping function to trial balance.
Qualification And Experience: Accounting Degree or Diploma. At least 3 years of Accounting/bookkeeping experience. Legal Trust experience (advantageous, but not a prerequisite).
Requirements: Proficient in MS Office (advanced Excel). Pastel and WinLaw knowledge (advantageous). Drivers License with own transport.
Responsibility: Processing of bank statements and accounting journals and supplier invoices. Daily processing of trust bank accounts. Preparing monthly reconciliations of all investment accounts. Daily online banking – trust and business payments. Management of company debtors and creditors. Bi-monthly VAT preparation and submission of returns. Preparation of monthly management accounts.
