Senior Developer, East London, Eastern Cape. Senior developer required for a leading Financial Organization in East London. Only applicants with a relevant Computer Science/IT Degree and minimum 5 years’ experience in software development will be considered for this position.

Key Requirements: Computer Science/IT Degree minimum 5 years’ experience in software development Visual Studio.NET / C# / MVC / MCF / SQL.

Duties include: Gathering of functional requirements. Technical design - designing and planning new systems within technical: specification. Encoding of requirements from the technical design. Understanding and communicating the system requirements to team members. Estimate development time & report on project progress & planning. Training and assisting of other team members. Research & development. Performing code reviews. Implementation of controls and standards. Business user interaction; Interaction with 3rd party SP’s. Resolving of bugs in existing software; Fault finding and testing. Modifying of existing stored procedures. Database development. Exergy configuration/integration

Development of additional features; Front end development; Service layer development; Unit test development & Windows service development. Obtaining feedback from users. UAT testing.

Preparing of documentation ie: Technical specifications; Functional design documentation & Operational documentation. Implement controls, procedures and reports as & when necessary. Salary: Market Related use Job Title as a reference in the subject field.
