Senior Contracts Engineer in Dubai
VACANCIES IN THE UAE - We are a leading electromechanical engineering contracting company, well-established in the GCC region. Our project experience encompasses electrical, mechanical and instrumentation works for power and desalination plants, airports, aluminum smelters, paper mills, water transmission systems and pumping stations, petroleum products tank terminals, refineries and high voltage substations. To meet the present requirements, applications are invited from candidates having similar experience in GCC countries in our line of business for the following position:
SENIOR CONTRACTS ENGINEER - (Job Ref. DQSC)
Responsible for developing and administering all contract documents from the tender process through to contract closeout including variations and necessary documentation for construction and other project-related contracts for Danway.
Present potential risks to the client and to the project and thereafter suggest measures to the Contracts Manager.
Prepare contractual correspondence on the matter relating to rights of claims and disputes.
Should have thorough knowledge of and work experience in claims management, standard construction contracts, construction processes and procedures, construction law, arbitration, mediation and litigation. Experienced in working with international contracts and exposure to FIDIC conditions.
Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical), with minimum 15 years of experience, out of which 5 years in the GCC region.
