My client is a well-known large Financial Services firm that is a leader in their industry and boasts a great culture.

They currently have a hybrid working structure; therefore, most days can be worked from home, whilst others from their CBD office. Due to a large transformation project requirement, they need to bring in an experienced Linux Server specialist to join their Infrastructure team. As well as a solid Linux background, there is an emphasis on bringing in a contractor who has Ansible skills for automation. On offer will be an initial 6-month contract, with further opportunities beyond.

Key skills required: Strong background working in BAU & Project work across Linux Servers in large, complex environments. Strong ability to install and configure Linux Server builds on Dell hardware within Datacentre and also some virtual servers running on VMware ESXi. Automation skills using Ansible is a must. Scripting skills in and/or Python, Perl, and shell would be bonus. Financial Industry experience would be desirable. Proactive mentality and collaborative nature. Good communication skills.
