Tycrop, a product creation company based in Rosedale, BC, specializes in mobile industrial applications.  We have been designing, engineering, building and supporting mobile equipment for specialized markets around the world for over 3 decades.
We are currently recruiting a variety of experienced machine operators to join our team.  We take pride in providing progressive and growing, long-term career opportunities, and are seeking individuals that will become champions of the TYCROP vision and prove to be advocates of TYCROP and its products.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Responsible for creating quality parts using a variety of machinery including: drill presses, shears, saws, iron workers, brake presses, and plasma tables. This position will require an individual who is able to deal with frequent change and competing demands in their work environment.
QUALFICATIONS:
    High school or equivalent education completion
    Minimum 3 years of experience with proven proficiency in in 3 or more of the following work stations: Plasma table; burn table; horizontal saw; vertical saw; shear; CNC brake press; manual brake press
    Proficient in all punch/drill operations using taps, hole saws and slugger cutters
    Proficient in the operation of available hand and air tools (die grinder, angle grinder, drill, skill saw, jig saw etc.)
    Ability to work well in both independent and team environments and manage multiple tasks
    Manual dexterity with ability to lift up to 50 lbs
    Preference given to those with Forklift ticket
    Supervisory/Leadership experience is an asset
DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
    Read and understand layout and measurement specifications as directed
    Lay out reference points and patterns on metals
    Set up, maintain and operate machinery including presses, shears, saws, iron workers, brake presses, and plasma tables to produce parts for production
    Produce parts and ensure quality and design compliance as per TYCROP and customer specifications
    Lift/move product & material in various positions
    Maintain QA documents & production schedules as directed
    Attend training, production and safety meetings as required
    Exhibit problem solving, decision making, job task planning and organizational capabilities
Successful candidates must provide CSA approved footwear
Wage offered: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour depending on training, skills, knowledge and experience
