Our client in Stellenbosch has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to form part of their growing goal orientated team, to ensure a controlled and efficient financial process. Requirements: Tertiary Qualification: Relevant degree. Experience: 3-5 Years in a similar position, production/manufacturing environment preferred. Computer Literacy: MS Navision will be an advantage.

Key Duties: Assisting with day to day management of the finance team. Financial controls and processes to be ad hered to and any deviations to be reported to Management. Take responsibility for following and completing month end processes. Adhere to tight deadlines. Analyze TB to ensure completeness and reasonability & report on variances. Create ad-hoc reports as and when required. Ensure the profitability and long-term sustainability of the company and make recommendations where necessary.

Play a significant role in long-term planning, including initiatives geared toward financial growth and profitability and striving for excellence in the finance department through training and employee development.
