A global performance marketing agency based in Johannesburg, is recruiting for a SEO Specialist to join their growing SEO department. This award-winning team works with global blue-chip brands and have a fantastic reputation in the market. Their offices are modern, fast paced and very media in style. You will be working with tons of talented people.

Your responsibilities will include: Testing, collecting + analysing data Identify trends + insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in organic search campaigns. Reporting + analysing website analytics. Keyword research + optimization. Search strategy. Research + implement SEO recommendations. Competitor analysis Ensure SEO best practice. Work with internal teams such as content + marketing to drive SEO

Recommend changes to website architecture, content + linking. Management of all campaigns including account management. The agency has an amazing culture with excellent training and development opportunities. The SEO team is small but highly skilled.

The ideal candidate will have: Minimum 2 years within SEO but closer to 3 – 5 years. Ideally agency experience. Solid understanding of performance marketing. In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Omniture an advantage). Experience using SEO data tools (Google Search Console, Microsoft Excel, Screaming Frog, and online WebCEO). Experience in HTML, CSS, + JavaScript. Exceptional attention to detail a must. Switched on, hard-working and passionate about all things digital.
