In the Human Resources, Succession training role, you will be trained in the areas of recruiting, hiring practices, benefits, compensation, labour and employee relations, legal compliance, training and development, workers’ compensation and other related areas.
You will also learn about the Company’s philosophy, core values and culture so that you can communicate and promote them in your role.
In order to be considered for an HR Manager, Succession position, you must have a Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in HR, Labor Relations or Business Management), good knowledge and understanding of provincial employment legislation and 2-5 years of HR work experience.
You must also: be able to work independently as well as part of a team; have demonstrated oral and written communication skills, proven analytical and problem solving skills; effective interpersonal and time management skills, strong computer skills in all microsoft software (Excel, Word, etc); and be committed to continuous learning.
During the training period, travel to all Ontario units may be required.
Willingness to relocate upon completion of training is a major requirement of this position.
