Location: Stellenbosch, Cape Winelands, Job Type: Full-Time. As the accountant you will provide support to the finance team by maintaining accounting records and performing any other supporting tasks required.

Requirements: Proven work experience as a financial accountant or similar role. Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Xero (accounting software). In-depth understanding of business bookkeeping procedures. Solid knowledge of accounting regulations. Excellent math skills with attention to detail. Time-management abilities. Confidentiality. Relevant accounting or finance degree. Additional certification (e.g. CPA) is a plus.

Offices located in the Somerset West area. Company industry type: Computer Software. Preference will be given to AA/EE candidates. Salary bracket is R20K R26K per month CTC based on experience. Responsibility: Cashbook / loading of payments, Invoicing, Debtors Collection, Compilation and submission of Statutory returns (VAT201s, EMP201s, IT14SDs, etc.) Accruals and Provisions, Trial Balance checks, Assist with compiling reports, Assist with company secretarial where necessary, Any other duties required. Salary: R26000.
