Location: Other, Northern Suburbs, Job Type: Full-Time. A well-established restaurant based in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town is seeking a Junior Manager to join their dynamic team.
Responsibilities: Promoting and Marketing the business. Liaising with customers, employees, suppliers, licensing authorities and sales representatives. Daily, Weekly and Monthly stock take as well as overseeing stock levels. Ordering supplies as and when needed. Producing staff rosters. Handling customer enquiries and complaints – resolving such enquiries and complaints. Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety legislation/guidelines. Daily, Weekly and Monthly Administration. Training and supervising of staff.
Requirements: Grade 12 or equivalent. Tertiary Qualification in Restaurant Management will be an advantage. Minimum of 2 years' experience in Food & Beverage Management. Valid driver’s licence. Own reliable transport. Experience with Food Costs, Stock Management, Finance / Accounting and general management of the Kitchen and FOH. Efficient in MS Office and Pilot system. Must be able to communicate professionally in English and Afrikaans, both written and verbally. Prior experience demonstrating abilities to communicate with discretion, tact, and diplomacy required. Must be able to multi-task. Ability to recognize the guests' interests and needs. Must be available to work shifts.
