Business development, revenue generation for service department Overall supervision of the department To be able to carry out project planning / execution and delivery on time Corresponding & arranging jobs with sub-contractors, suppliers etc. Carrying out works on board vessels eg. Fixed & portable gas detectors, fixed CO2 fire extinguishing system, fixed dry chemical system & fire alarm system etc. Inspect service and test Lifeboats, Rescue Craft, release hooks, davits, winches and ancillary recovery equipment, fall wires and hang off pendants. Perform diagnostics and repair of all types of marine engines and transmissions/drives/generators. Should perform/prepare paperwork and other documentation required (i.e. service reports, certificates, etc.) Ensure full compliance with all work performed to the required SOLAS and IMO Statutory requirements and as per Marine Equipment Directive. Responsible for ensuring tasks are conducted in a safe manner and in accordance with applicable company procedures. Participate in team initiatives whilst ensuring all tasks are completed on time. Ensure that allocated equipment, tools etc. are used in a safe and correct manner and not subject to misuse or abuse. Any other duties required for the efficient daily operation of the department. Should Work irregular hours when necessary.
