Support Engineer, IT, Location: Sandton, Johannesburg, Job Type: Full-Time, Employment Equity: Sybaweb is looking for a Support Engineer to join our Team. The successful candidate will be based in Johannesburg.

We are looking for a Support Engineer who is conscientious, enjoys client interaction, achievement orientated with a high level of energy and drive. You will diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware problems and help our customers install applications and programs, including resolving network issues, configuring operating systems and using remote desktop connections to provide immediate support.

Working technical experience with installing, configuring, monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting network components (LAN and WAN environment)

Experience: Good interpersonal skills and excellent networking skills with Windows OS, Microsoft Server, Active Directory and Microsoft Office 365. Matric, Qualification with Mathematics as a subject, A+ and N+ Qualification, MCP Certificate or equivalent, 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role. Knowledge of IT best practice & procedures. Sound understanding of desktop, laptops, printers, servers & networks

Valid driver’s licence essential with a clean accident record. Good communication skills. Positive attitude and persuasive manner. Experience of ConnectWise will be advantageous. Salary: Market. Related Job Type: Full-time.
