Experience: Experience an asset
Work Setting: Butcher shop, Meat packing establishment
Type of Equipment: Power grinder, Slicing machine, Band saw, Sausage machine, Salami mixer and cooker, Manual cutting utensil
Specific Skills: Cut carcasses, sides and quarters, Cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat, Remove bones from meat, Grind meats, Slice cooked meats, Prepare special orders, Shape, lace and tie roasts, other meats, poultry and seafood
Additional Skills: Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting, Wrap and package prepared meats, Weigh meats for sale, Price meat products, Sell meats to customers
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Standing for extended periods, Physically demanding, Handling heavy loads, Hand-eye co-ordination
