Retail Area Manager Cape Town, Location: Other, Cape Town, Job Type: Full-Time, Retail Area Manager – Cape Town. Leading brand is seeking to employ an Area Manager to join their ever growing and very well established team, based in Cape Town

Main Purpose: To lead retail operations within specified geography according to the purpose, vision and values whilst driving retail priorities, maximising turnover and ensuring a consistent, brand-aligned customer experience across all stores

Key Accountabilities: Purpose, Values & Culture: The alignment of all stores people behind a clear purpose, values and strategy to ensure a consistent brand-aligned customer experience.

Retail Operations: Ensure that all retail operations are consistently executed according to standard operating procedures

People: Ensuring that the performance and productivity of people is optimized.

Financial Management: Ensure that the key financial indicators reflect good stores health.

Sales & Marketing: Growing market share through the retention of existing customers, acquisition of new customers and the maximization of their spend

Technical & Functional Competencies: Technical and professional understanding of retail, wholesale, stock management, logistics, supply chain, merchandise management and brand management. Financial and business management competencies. Ability to network, build and sustain relationships. Applied retail operational management experience, knowledge and skills. Ability to think and inspire innovation and solution thinking.

Verbal and written communication in English and Afrikaans. Coaching and facilitation skills to enable learning, competence development and positive energy. Conflict management competencies. Negotiation Skills. Performance Management Competencies
