Our leading Medical Specialist Practice is seeking a smart, sophisticated, dynamic, educated and enthusiastic Medical Receptionist striving to enhance and perform at a junior Manager level Administrative Secretary.
The Receptionist works as a integral to our Clinical Team and Clinical Pathways from Patient Entry and Referrals to successful outcomes. The Dynamic Receptionist we seek will be expected to, and trained to, enhance skills beyond the 'Generic' Medical Secretary roles to being a Facilitator, Communicator, Business Generator, Triage Person, and a Professional 'Helper' to all Clinic patients and families. This is equivalent to a Junior Manager level Administrative Work.

We are looking for a Medical Administration Secretary to work alongside a Team of another Admin, a Specialist and a Part Time Psychologist working in an integrated clinical practice. QANC is focused on providing contemporary medical care to High Functioning Professionals, Families and Students with Autism/ Asperger's, ADHD and co-existing Learning or Psychiatric burden.
QANC is based at Gold Coast's most prestigious Pindara Private Hospital in the centre of Gold Coast in Benowa. Clinic times are 8am to 5:30pm. Immediate start is preferred. Experience with past Medical Specialist practices will be preferred. QANC is a unique relatively small extremely fast-paced busy Clinical setup. We do not employ Practice Managers in order to expedite Direct Communication and Shared Ownership with our Clients and Clinicians.

Thus, prior Office Management experience experience in Customer Service Delivery, Attention to detail, sophisticated Communication Skills, Problem Solving , Business or Sales generation and ideally Medical Management software expertise such as BEST PRACTICE, GENIE, or similar, is required
As a Tertiary Specialist Clinical Practice, Admin Staff will have expected knowledge and pathways of what QANC Clinicians 'actually do', how services are tailored and the unique QANC ethos. Suitable candidate will be interested and facilitated with the Clinical content, along with the Administrative details of QANC service delivery Benchmarks. Our Clinic's Admin Staff deliver a dynamic, calm, empathetic communication. We ensure that our patients are made to feel that our Team is proactive, genuinely interested in helping and problem-solving their concerns in a respectful, timely manner. Basic knowledge of Ethical and Privacy Guidelines in Healthcare is expected. Clinic operating hours are weekdays 8:00am to 5:30pm, excluding Public Holidays.
Job Requirements: Candidates should be passionate about enhancing their career in Health Management. Dynamic individuals who wish to enhance their skills with a 'Non-Generic' Medical Administrative approach, driven by genuine interest in the learning of Medical Facts with implementation in service delivery are best suited for this position.
This position requires memorising and learning Clinical literature, as Service Benchmarks are tailored to the Clinical needs of individual clients. Benchmarks are implemented by regular Performance Reviews of ongoing Learning incorporated in Service Delivery and Business Generation. QANC will provide essential scripts and literature.
Past evidence of potential for problem-solving and academic upskilling will be essential criteria for the shortlisting of this Position.
Successful candidates must posses and will be facilitated in: Advanced understanding of Health Management Software (preferably Best Practice).( Without advanced familiarity with PCs and PC Softwares such as Office Suite, we will not be able to train those with no prior PC experience or those who are not tech-savvy). A relevant Undergraduate Degree or a Postgraduate Diploma would be desirable. Fast typing skills and advanced Microsoft / PC expertise. 'Clinical common-sense' and incentive or drive to Learn & Grow. Ability for Self-appraisal and reflection. Maturity to appreciate an ever-changing landscape. Adaptability to a variety of contexts
Understanding of Clinical, Interpersonal, Corporate, Medico-legal, clinical risk management. Adaptability to converse with various age clientele and their families. Ability to liaise with various organisations, Healthcare providers, businesses and community. Candidates must be keen to be a part of the Clinical Team in an Administrative Triage/Liaison capacity.

Procedures for Owings and Retrieval. Daily Liaison with the Company Bookkeeper. Experience in Accounting Softwares such as Xero would be ideal. Based on experience and skill base, candidates will be offered a remuneration of $25-$35 per hour. Gold Coast. Salary $25 - $34.99 per hour.
