The Role: We are looking for a Business Development Manager MICE – Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & exhibitions who will be dedicated to drive and develop business by delivering outstanding guest experience.
In this role, you will: Manage, develop and secure business from identified markets to achieve and exceed MICE Budget. Focus on winning new business opportunities, particularly from the association and corporate markets. Drive MICE business into identified ‘need’ periods. Attend functions and events to discover new opportunities. Host familiarisations and site inspections with prospective clients as required. Develop and maintain effective relationships with meeting managers to find new opportunities. Prepare quote proposals and contracts as required.
If this role interests you and you can demonstrate that you: Are results orientated and motivated. Have minimum 5 years of relevant experience with cold calling. Have proven experience in prospecting and winning new business. Ability to build easily relationship with all levels of stakeholders. Have previous MICE knowledge.
