The UTS Student Administration Unit is currently recruiting for a Ceremonies and Events Officer to join the team. Under the direction of the Ceremonies and Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for the execution of tasks and activities, which ensure compliant, efficient and effective management, as well as high levels of excellence in the delivery of Graduation Ceremonies and other special events.
In this role you will be responsible for: Undertake, tasks and activities in relation to graduation ceremonies and other special events Organise key aspects of the Graduation ceremonies, including but not limited to; event logistics, online registration, speaker arrangements, guest lists, and invoices. Liaise with Ceremonies and Events team, external and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of events. Provides day-to-day support to other staff, ensuring operational and customer service standards for Ceremonies and Events are met within appropriate time frames
To be successful in applying for this role, you will have: Previous experience in events and/or project management. Demonstrated ability to response in a timely and accurate manner to enquires, with a customer service focus to internal and external stakeholders. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, performing tasks and adhering to deadlines. Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal, written, negotiation, influencing, presentation and conflict resolution skills

This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.
