Tax Supervisor - Senior - Woodstock - R20000 Location, Woodstock, Cape Town, Job Type Full-Time. Our Client is looking for a Tax Supervisor/Senior who is highly organized and well structured, and who has strong communication skills, a pleasant personality, and the ability to get along with clients, colleagues, and peers alike. He/she must have the ability to pay attention to detail at all times, have sound time management skills, must be capable of controlling workflow as relating to clients, and be deadline-driven to ensure the meeting of deadlines/deliverables timeously.

He/she must have worked in a practical Taxation environment similar to ours (the firm/s worked for do not have to be Chartered Accountants and for the purposes hereof SAIPA registered firms will also suffice) for a period of at least 4,5 to 5 years, must have sound practical/working application ability with regard to all aspects as relating to Taxation including but not limited to the preparation of Income tax returns in respect of Individuals, Trusts, Companies, and Close Corporations, attending to objections and appeals to SARS, and must have the ability to interact on a regular basis with SARS’ Officials.

He/she must have a sound practical/working application ability with regard to Taxation in conjunction with all SARS’ processes and procedures including but not limited to SARS’ e-filing and SARS’ easy-file and must have a sound practical/working application ability with EXCEL on an intermediate level. He/she must have a sound theoretical knowledge of Taxation from an academic perspective (he/she must have a recognized qualification commensurate with practical experience). He/she must be capable of supervising and checking/reviewing the work of a compliment of at least 2 to 3 tax administrator personnel and must be able to interact with SARS on a practical level. Salary: RR20,000
