Net) Information Technology, Gauteng Centurion Actek is looking for a Software developer who is able to independently design, develop, code, test and debug new software and to make significant enhancements to existing software using Visual Studios; to design and develop secure scalable and fault tolerant solutions across a distributed architecture. VB.Net developer responsibilities include designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and delivering high-availability and performance  Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle Write well designed, testable, efficient code Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications Prepare and produce releases of software components Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review  Requirements  

Accredited National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree (with computer science related subject as a major) (Would be an advantage) Proven hands-on Software Development experience Proven working experience in Java development Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java platforms Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns. Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases and SQL Experience with test-driven development. Job Type: Permanent Salary: R12 000 to R15 000 Job Location: Lyttelton Manor Centurion; Gauteng
