Magento Developer, Location, Bellville, Northern Suburbs, Job Type Full-Time. We are currently searching for inspiring colleagues who are smart, fun, digital-thinking, ambitious and looking for the challenge to transform an industry.

You will be a part of an energetic team that is responsible for all aspects of the ongoing software development from the initial specification, through to developing, testing and launching. You will be focused on how our clients can make the most difference in their customers lives by helping define the platforms and products that will shape the companies as they continue on their digital journey.

You will need: A BSc degree or relevant IT diploma. A minimum of 5 years proven experience in developing high volume applications which are scalable, secure and real-time. Proven knowledge of Object Orientated Programming and development Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture {SOA}. Experience in coding of website components with a firm grasp of Open source technologies. Write clean, well designed code. Previous experience with Magento. Produce detailed specifications. Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality. Follow industry best practices. Solid experience in Web Services, Json, XML, Javascript (node.js advantageous). Experience in the use of frameworks (Zend). Solid experience in MySQL Database development.

Writing, testing and implementing programs. Proficient in multiple languages and willing to learn and apply new technologies and languages where required. Ability to work alongside Architects to integrate and propose viable solutions.
