Field Service Technician for tray-sealing equipment, Location, Other, East Rand, Advertised By Private, Job Type Full-Time

Zibo Containers (Pty) Ltd, manufacturer of plastic packaging has a vacancy for a skilled field technician to join our dynamic and growing team at our Olifantsfontein plant. The field service technician will oversee all technical matters relating to tray sealing machines which include installation, service, maintenance and repair of Tray-sealing equipment.

The ideal candidate is a top performer with an impeccable track record and reputation in the packaging industry. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with clients, the development team of the company, and various stakeholders within the company to ensure the delivery of products in an efficient, timely manner

Key Performance Areas: Build positive relationships with clients, Oversee all technical matters relating to tray sealing machines, Service, maintain, repair and install Tray-sealing equipment. Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine ideal solutions, Provide support service & customer support during field visits or dispatches, Make appropriate recommendations/briefings in line with customer requirements, Produce timely and detailed service reports, Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization, Document processes.

Preference will be given to candidates with the following experience and qualification: 5 years’ food industry experience (FMCG). Technical qualification, Knowledge of pneumatics and electronics, Good understanding of vacuum machines & tray sealing machines – troubleshoot, test, repair, and service, Knowledge of flexible material will be a bonus, Strong communication and presentation skills along with a commitment to service excellence.
