Thunderhouse Forest Services Inc. is a forestry consulting & silviculture firm in Northern Ontario that provides service to industry, government & private landowners. We are seeking; Aerial Image Interpreters responsibilities
•  Interpret, delineate & identify forest ecosite attributes on digital imagery.
•  Operate softcopy & GIS technology.
•  Field work sufficient to maintaininterpretation accreditation.
skills & qualifications
•  Minimum 7 months experience in aerial image or photo interpretation.
•  Strong interest in aerial image interpretation, softcopy process & forest inventory.
•  Competent with GIS software.
•  OMNR photo interpretation accreditation.
•  Ontario Boreal forest cruising experience.
•  Degree or diploma in forestry, natural resources, environment, geography or GIS.
•  Valid drivers license with clean driving record.
wage
•  $55,000 annually
Entry-level applicants with a keen interest in forest inventory maybe considered for this full-time permanent employment. Wage commensurate with experience.
